The Cayman Islands welcomed 85,998 stayover visitors between January and February 2025 up 7.4% from the same period in 2024. February saw 44,589 stayover visitors arrive on our shores, an increase of 7% year over year. “February’s numbers show that we are on pace for growth in 2025 and we anticipate a strong Q1 for visitation and accompanying revenue from Tourism Accommodation Taxes,” said the Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism and Ports.

Boutique resort, East Winds has completed the first phase of a 3-year refurbishment project that combines Caribbean nostalgia with local craftsmanship and sustainability. Local craftspeople were invited to create bespoke items ranging from lamps and floor mats to art and decorative items to infuse rooms and public spaces with authentic island character.  Additionally some 70 per cent of the existing furniture has been thoughtfully restored and refreshed.
