British Airways’ new First took off yesterday (February 10, 2010) on a Boeing 777 bound for Chicago, The Windy City.
BA reveals £100m new First class cabin
British Airways’ new First has taken off following a £100m investment. The new cabin – which includes a personal wardrobe, a bed which is almost half again as wide as the previous one, and personal electronic blinds – is installed on a B777 which flies from London Heathrow to Chicago O’ Hare.
OpenSkies to launch new route
BA’s all-business European subsidiary OpenSkies will launch a new route from its Paris base to Washington DC in May. The new route – which launches on May 3 – is the airline’s second after Paris Orly to New York – Newark.
