AHIC 2015: Dubai World Central signs three new hotel partners
Dubai World Central has announced the signing of separate agreements that will see the development of three international hotels – Aloft, Studio M and Millennium – at DWC. The hotels are scheduled for completion between 2018 and 2019 and will collectively add 1,300 rooms to DWC’s hospitality offering.
AHIC 2015: InterContinental reveals first fruits from Dur Hospitality deal
InterContinental Hotels Group has confirmed the signing of a franchise agreement for the first Holiday Inn in Tabuk with Dur Hospitality Company at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference. The 83-room Holiday Inn Tabuk is the first hotel to be developed under the master development agreement inked between IHG and DUR Hospitality Company last year.

AHIC to host GCC hospitality careers symposium
Officials at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference have announced they will be hosting a first of its kind student outreach programme – entitled ‘Hospitality Careers for GCC Nationals Symposium’ – during this year’s event. The organisers of AHIC 2015 announced officially earlier that Ivanka Trump will speak at this year’s conference on the topic of ‘The Future of Luxury and the Next Generation of Luxury Traveller’.
