Wizz Air has celebrated the launch of its new routes to Tenerife, Malaga, Larnaca and Lublin this week, with the inaugural flight to Tenerife taking off and the first flight to Malaga commencing today.

As the new routes commence this week, Wizz Air celebrates the official opening of its Doncaster Sheffield base, where an Airbus A320 aircraft is already allocated, and the next one arriving in December.

The move means Wizz has added over 560,000 seats per annum to its Doncaster Sheffield capacity. 

The expansion at Doncaster Sheffield Airport will support the local economy by creating over 60 direct jobs and many more indirect jobs in the area.
