Wyndham Garden Barranquilla opens in Colombia

Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the opening of the 91-room Wyndham Garden Barranquilla hotel, jointly with local partner Inversiones Rueda Leon.

The hotel becomes the company’s 13th property to open in Colombia.

Wyndham Garden Barranquilla is located in the heart of Barranquilla’s financial district, mere steps from several major corporations, banks, and industrial parks, as well as the world-renowned shopping for which Barranquilla and Colombia are famous.

The hotel’s prime location also offers easy access to Cartagena, Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport, renowned medical facilities and acclaimed restaurants.

Wyndham Garden Barranquilla’s 91 elegant, well-appointed guest rooms are each equipped with a flat-screen HDTV, a mini-bar and an iPod docking station.

The hotel’s multi-lingual staff offer a warm and enthusiastic service 24 hours a day.

The non-smoking hotel also offers a business centre, a fitness centre, free high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout and indoor parking.

Its 80-square-metre event room accommodates up to 80 attendees in a theatre-style setting or 40 for a sit-down banquet, with access to a sundeck and gardens for refreshment breaks or break-out sessions.

Leisure facilities located on the rooftop with sweeping city views include a hot tub, steam-room and sauna.

The on-site restaurant offers complimentary breakfast and Colombian and international dining options.
