World Travel Awards arrives in Antalya, Turkey

World Travel Awards has arrived in Antalya, Turkey for what promises to be a glittering Gala Ceremony at the magnificent Cornelia Diamond Resort & Spa tomorrow.

Some 100 awards will be presented to the cream of the European tourism industry following a voting process involving 230,000 hospitality professionals from around the world.

International performers Sterling EQ, a musical phenomena flying in from Cape Town, South Africa, will set the night alight with their electric flute, cello and violin beats, while the evening will be hosted by Turkish television celebrity Ece Vahapoglu. 

The world renowned, record-breaking dance spectacular Fire of Anatolia will entertain a 400 strong hand picked audience of travel industry professionals, celebrities and government dignitaries.

World Travel Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and the Europe Gala Ceremony is part of the Grand Tour.

Other stops have included Peru, the Maldives and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Later in the year WTA will stop in Kenya and Antigua & Barbuda before heading to Qatar for the Grand Final in November.
