Wizz Air Ukraine adds Lviv as third base
Wizz Air Ukraine has announced its third base will open on April 30th 2014 in Lviv.
The base will be home to one Airbus A320 aircraft, and will see the airline add five new routes, to Barcelona Girona, Naples, Kutaisi, Rome, and Valencia.
The carrier already flies to Venice Treviso, Dortmund and Milan Bergamo from Ukraine.
The airline’s latest growth brings more low fares to Ukrainian travellers and visitors and shows that Wizz Air Ukraine is committed to air travel development and job creation.
“It is a great joy for us to announce our third Ukrainian base in Lviv.
“Consumers in Lviv and the region already know Wizz Air Ukraine’s low-cost services, as we have operated number of routes from Lviv International Airport since 2010.
“Now even more Ukrainians can access direct regular flights to new European destinations and tourists from Western Europe can explore another beautiful Ukrainian city.
“By basing our aircraft in Lviv and opening new routes, we support job creation in the region,” said Akos Bus, general director of Wizz Air Ukraine.
