Nakheel, sponsor of the UAE Tour White Jersey, hosted 140 of the world’s best cyclists at Dubai’s world-famous Palm Jumeirah earlier as stage four of the event got under way.

The riders gathered at the Pointe at Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel’s new, AED800 million waterfront dining and lifestyle destination, for the start of their 198-kilometre journey to Hatta Dam.

Aqil Kazim, Nakheel chief commercial officer, who officially started today’s stage, said: “The UAE Tour takes in some of the UAE’s best loved, most famous landmarks, including our very own flagship development, Palm Jumeirah. 

“We’re delighted to support this prestigious event as a jersey sponsor and host venue.”
