Two British holidaymakers killed as India train derails

Two British tourists were killed and others were injured after a train derailed in northern India on Saturday.
The chartered four-carriage train, which was carrying a group of 37 Britons, had left Kalka railway station when three of the carriages derailed, according to reports.
Confirming the deaths of two British nationals thought to be in their 60s, Foreign Office minister for Asia Hugo Swire Foreign Office commented: “I am deeply saddened that two British nationals have been killed and many others injured in a train accident in Northern India.
“My thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.”
