Travelport to showcase value-added solutions at ATM 2011

Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, is set to exhibit at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2011, where it will showcase its latest travel technology offering to travel agencies, airlines and corporations in the Middle East.

Taking place from 2-5 May 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Travelport will demonstrate the diverse functionality of its Galileo and Worldspan global distribution systems (GDS) at ATM, highlighting innovative solutions and content that can help travel partners in the region achieve success.
At the Travelport stand in Hall 5, a range of new products and services that cater to the business requirements of travel agencies will be available for screening; including Travelport’s customised portfolio of value-added tools, as well as the company’s brand new mobile travel booking solution, Travelport Mobi.

Visitors will also be able to preview breakthrough technology, including Smartpoint, a framework that facilitates point and click navigation, and Universal API (uAPI), an industry-leading application designed to give travel agents the ability to aggregate travel content from multiple sources through a single interface.

In addition, Travelport will be conducting daily workshops for the travel trade on its land & sea offering, including online portal Travelport Leisure, whilst airlines will be able to learn more about Travelport’s Sponsored Flights advertising programme and other Partner Marketing opportunities during dedicated sessions.

As part of the ATM seminar programme running alongside the exhibition, Travelport’s Director of Strategic Corporate Development Jason Hancock will be participating in a session entitled ‘The Importance of Social Media’. Taking place May 4th at 10:00am, Jason will discuss how social media can work for B2B travel organisations.

Following the success of last year’s charity initiative at ATM, Travelport will once again support the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs’ through its ‘think’ canvas located in the main concourse hall, encouraging visitors at the show to lend their artistic talent for a great cause.
