Transaero Airlines, Russia’s second largest airline, has said will launch scheduled twice-weekly domestic flights between Moscow and Astrakhan from September 11th.

Serving the route for the first time, flights UN147/148 with Discount class will be operated from Moscow Domodedovo airport using Boeing 737 aircraft on Thursdays and Sundays.

Discount class, Transaero’s unique class of service, provides for an attractive price offering, with return tickets including taxes from Moscow to Astrakhan from £127.

The launch of services between Astrakhan and Moscow is another step in developing the Transaero’s domestic route network.

Passengers arriving from Astrakhan to Moscow can continue their travel with the airline taking advantage of its extensive route network that covers over 200 domestic and international routes.
