Ski.com introduces ‘Ski Flex,’

Ski.com (http://www.ski.com), North America’s largest provider of mountain vacations, today introduced their powerful Ski Flex (http://www.ski.com/skiflex) tool which enables users to search through up to 60 days worth of lodging rates or lodging and lift ticket package pricing to find the travel dates and price that work best for them.

Ski Flex is perfect for skiers and riders with flexible travel dates because it helps them find the best deal on lodging accommodations and, when included, lift tickets. The results are displayed in a single, easy-to-read calendar showing pricing 30 days before and 30 days after their target travel date. Users are able to see things like lodging and/or lift ticket sales, free-night promotions, dollar amount saved and a total package price. The calendar also highlights the least expensive arrival date(s) within the 60-day window.

“Our experienced Mountain Vacation Specialists have been using an internal version of Ski Flex for a year to help their clients with flexible schedules find the best deal on their ski trip,” said Harry Peisach, Ski.com president/CEO. “By making this technology available directly through our Web site, we have empowered our users to do vacation research on their own if they wish. Each resort and lodging accommodation offers various sales and price fluctuations throughout the season and Ski Flex gives users an easy way to find the best time to travel based on price.”

After selecting their preferred travel dates, travelers may then add ski vacation components such as flights, ground transportation, lift tickets and equipment rentals before completing the booking process.

Ski.com offers 100 resorts and more than 1,500 properties worldwide, all bookable through a state-of-the-art booking engine. However, before Ski Flex, looking at different dates and comparing prices was an arduous process. Ski Flex now makes comparison shopping easy, allowing more time for getting excited to hit the slopes!
