Signature Safaris signs Zebula

Signature Safaris has welcomed Zebula Golf Estate & Spa to Signature Hotels.

Zebula Estate is the only four Star graded golf estate, nature reserve and spa in the whole of Africa, located on 1,600 hectares of wild African bushveld, nestling under the Waterberg mountain range.

Signature Life Hospitality has signed up this incredible destination adding to their burgeoning and diverse choice of hospitality offerings.

Managing director, Alan Vels, said: “Zebula is a perfect combination for all leisure and business visitors offering unique and exceptional experiences in a stunning part of the country- this adds a new dimension to our carefully selected portfolio, and is in line with the Signature Safaris brand we are rolling out across Africa.”

For many years, safaris in Africa have been categorized by the traditional exclusive game lodge in remote African destinations with a morning and afternoon game experience, usually on the back of a motorized vehicle with a game tracker taking guests to the same game spot day in and day out.

A game walk may have been the absolute highlight of the visit to a game lodge.

Signature Life Hospitality believes that a Safari in Africa should leave an indelible signature on the soul when returning home after spending time on the wonderful continent of Africa.

The Signature Safaris in Africa brand strives to offer more than taking photographs from the back of a vehicle of wildlife.

Our safari brand starts to attract the youthful generation who want more than game viewing and hearing stores of ‘you should have been here last week’ from a veteran game tracker over dinner.

The New Age Safari Traveller wants to be able to experience game viewing from a new angle, with new game experiences in Africa whilst simultaneously sharing their unique live African encounter with colleagues in New York, London, Cape Town and Tokyo live on Facebook, BBM, Twitter and any other social media which is hip.

The properties that now form part of the groups Safari brand and the products earmarked to join the company, offer more than just a game viewing experience.

The lodges and resorts offer a range of interactive experiences that are attractive to a new generation of lodge guests. We tend to view our safari products as “resorts” with resort facilities within a game conservancy.

Our drive is to create arrange of products that have interactive game experiences as part of the total guests experience where inbound groups, private leisure guests, incentive groups and conference gatherings remember our properties because of the new interactive experiences they can encounter at one of our Safari properties.
