Sandals Resorts International has received 12 prestigious trophies at the 26th annual World Travel Awards Caribbean & North America Gala Ceremony.

The event was hosted at the all-new flagship Sandals Montego Bay Resort in Jamaica.

The World Travel Awards rewards and celebrates excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, and Sandals Resorts International was recognised in multiple categories for its commitment to industry excellence, reaffirming its position as a leader in the all-inclusive industry.

The most notable accolades received this year include being recognised as the Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Brand for the 26th year, and Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa being named the Caribbean’s Leading All-Inclusive Family Resort for the 12th year in a row.

This year, the World Travel Awards also bestowed a very special discretionary accolade to the Stewart Family on behalf of the Sandals Foundation for their Outstanding Contribution to Social Responsibility – a prestigious honour presented to an organisation which has not only made a positive contribution to the travel and tourism industry, but to the very people and land who provide their businesses to flourish.
