Rezidor opens the Radisson Blu Hotel, Batumi, Georgia

The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened its second hotel in Georgia: the Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi, Georgia.

The new landmark with wave-inspired glass façade offers 168-rooms in a prime beachfront location within easy reach of Seaside Boulevard, Batumi’s business, commercial and nightlife destination, and minutes from the International airport.

The hotel’s minimalistic design was overseen by Italian architect Michele De Lucchi.

All 168 guestrooms offer floor-to-ceiling glass windows, providing panoramic vistas across the city, coast and countryside, as well as signature Radisson Blu amenities, including: complimentary high-speed internet, Nespresso coffee machines and LCD flat-screen televisions.

The hotel’s 19,000-square-foot wellness facility features an Anne Semonin SPA and a fully-equipped fitness centre.

The spa offers five treatment rooms, a couples’ suite, indoor pool, outdoor pool surrounded by a sun deck with chairs and parasols, kids’ pool, Finnish sauna, aroma steam bath and relaxing “Ozone” Bar for refreshments.

Dining options at the Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi include the relaxed Medea Bar & Restaurant and the hotel’s signature Clouds Bar & Restaurant on the 19th floor. This spectacular rooftop venue is perfect for pre-dinner cocktails, followed by a menu of local and international grilled dishes.

The hotel’s beachside meeting space includes seven air-conditioned meeting rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual conference technology, as well as a Grand Ballroom, spanning 3,700 square feet with space for up to 350 guests.

The Grand Ballroom can also be divided into three sections for smaller events and conferences.

Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi is the second Radisson Blu to open in Georgia; The Rezidor Hotel Group currently operates the 249-room Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel Tbilsi.
