Prized Vintages for dinner at Four Seasons Palm Beach

From Fabled Silverado Trail, Chimney Rock Winery Brings Prized Vintages to Wine Dinner at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. Winemaker Elizabeth Vianna to host.

The Restaurant, the premier dining venue at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, will host a Winemaker’s Dinner on Sunday, June 26, 2011 featuring a selection of highly acclaimed wines from Napa Valley’s Chimney Rock vineyard. The four-course gourmet dinner will be paired with wines selected by the guest of honour, Elizabeth Vianna, Chimney Rock’s general manager and head winemaker.

The event starts with an informal reception beginning at 6:30 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. Guests will enjoy a sampling of Chimney Rock’s highly praised and sought-after vintages including Elevage Blanc 2007, Fume Blanc 2009, Elevage 2006 and Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 carefully matched to a gourmet menu created by the Resort’s Executive Chef Darryl Moiles. Reservations are required, as seating is limited.

Serving contemporary American cuisine in a casual, yet refined ambiance, The Restaurant offers a menu focused on Atlantic seafood in light preparations complemented by herbs sourced at the Resort’s staff-tended garden.

Located on the fabled Silverado Trail in the world-renowned Stags Leap District of California’s Napa Valley, Chimney Rock is recognised as one of the world’s premier fine wine producers. The winery’s 2007 Elevage vintage received the gold medal in the 2011 edition of the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine competition.
