PriceTravel Holding leads Latin American expansion

PriceTravel Holding, the leading Latin American travel company with 25 years in the market, has achieved 90% year-over-year (YoY) growth in sales from January to August in its LATAM region.

This growth is fueled by the company’s expansion strategy, with the simultaneous launch of operations in 2024 across Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Perú, Chile, Ecuador, and Uruguay; as well as the United States and Europe. These new operations add to its already consolidated presence in Mexico, where it began operations in 2000, and in Colombia since 2012, further strengthening its leadership in the region’s travel product distribution sector.

Tourism in Latin America has seen significant growth in recent years, with a steady increase in international visitors. According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the region welcomed 117 million international tourists in 2023, a 12% increase compared to 2022. In response to this growing international market, PriceTravel Holding continues to expand with a broad portfolio of over 500,000 hotel options worldwide and offers various business lines:

B2C: Serving end customers through TiquetesBaratos.com and PriceTravel.com, leading platforms in the Latin American market that heavily invest in technology to enhance user experience and offer personalization.
B2B Wholesale: With its PriceTravel Connect brand, specializing in B2B hotel distribution through API/XML integrations. It offers a broad portfolio of hotels with direct contracts in 120 destinations, including Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe, providing solutions for wholesale travel agencies, OTAs, and other B2B buyers.
B2B Retail: The PriceAgencies brand serves over 25,000 retail travel agents via a technological platform that provides access to the entire product portfolio, offering benefits such as guaranteed commissions and multiple payment options.
B2B2C: PriceAffiliates, a network of over 300 affiliated companies (airlines, hotels, banks, and travel programs), offers comprehensive solutions for the industry, combining online and offline sales channels through its Contact Center.

“This growth reflects PriceTravel Holding’s commitment to innovation and strategic expansion in Latin America. By entering key markets such as Argentina, Brazil, Perú, Chile, Ecuador, and Uruguay, we have been able to consolidate our presence and offer tailored solutions to both end customers and B2B partners. The combination of a robust multichannel offering and continuous investment in technology allows us not only to lead in the region but also to anticipate the needs of a rapidly evolving sector. We are excited to continue driving tourism development in the region and further strengthen our position in the international market”, said Jorge Restrepo, CEO of PriceTravel Holding.
