Porter Airlines load factor up 4.6 points in November
Porter Airlines’ passenger statistics for November 2010 produced a load factor of 54 per cent, based on 98.3 million ASMs (Available Seat Miles) and 53.1 million RPMs (Revenue Passenger Miles). This represents a 4.6 point load factor increase from 49.4 per cent in November 2009. ASMs grew 26.5 per cent from 77.7 million and RPMs increased 38.3 per cent from 38.4 million over the same period.
“Porter is progressively building market presence in 2010,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “As the year draws to a close, revenue metrics are strong and we will post record numbers in many categories.”
Porter had an industry-leading break-even load factor of 49% in 2009.
