The Regional Transportation District (RTD) Board of Directors swore in Barry Gore as the newest Board member. Barry Gore succeeds Kathi Williams as RTD Director of District K, which includes portions of Thornton, Brighton, Commerce City, and Northglenn. Mr. Gore is a resident of Thornton.

At the end of July, Kathi Williams’ resignation from the RTD Board of Directors became official. Last week, the Adams County Board of Commissioners appointed Mr. Gore to fill the vacancy until voters choose a new RTD Director for District K in this November’s election.

Mr. Gore said, “I am pleased to provide representation and continuity to the residents RTD serves in District K. The priorities and solutions we need can only be accomplished by being present at the table.”
