Monarch introduces flight Air Packs

Monarch, the scheduled leisure airline, has this week introduced Monarch Air Packs enabling customers when booking flights online to book a selection of optional extras and save up to 20% compared to booking each element separately.

Customers will be able to choose between two Monarch Air Packs, a Value Pack and a Comfort Pack, combining extras such as allocated seating and inflight meals and offering savings of over £50 for a family of four on a return flight.

The Monarch Air Packs start from £10.40 per person per flight and include:

  * Value Pack – pre-allocated seat, delicious inflight meal and online check-in available from £10.40 per person per flight

  * Comfort Pack – extra legroom seating, delicious inflight meal and online check-in available from £14.40 per person per flight

Commenting on the launch of the Monarch Air Packs, Kevin George, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines said, “Monarch offers a bespoke ‘build your own class of travel’ enabling customers the ability to tailor their flight package to their exact requirements, providing a greater sense of freedom and personalisation. The introduction of Monarch Air Packs not only allows customers to tailor their flight experience, but also offers even greater value for money compared to booking each element separately.

“We understand that not all customers are looking for the same optional extras when they fly so we have introduced two Monarch Air Packs, one for the budget conscious traveller and one for those looking for extra comfort.”

Monarch Air Packs can be reserved when making a flight booking online at www.monarch.co.uk or after a booking has been made via the ‘Manage My Bookings’ function, when both pre-allocated seats and an inflight meal are purchased during the same transaction.

Customers now booking flights will also benefit from zero debit card charge fees and a fixed fee for all credit card bookings, regardless of the transaction value or number of people travelling.
