Modern Family Dinner Made Easy at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai

Modern Family Dinner Made Easy at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai

Mom’s busy running errands; dad’s still at the office and kids want to go out with friends. Sound familiar? Even when everyone can make it for dinner at the same time, who will cook it?  And who will wash up?

Café Studio at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai introduces a new concept in family dinners, sure to please everyone.

Relaxed and Interactive

“Dining in a hotel does not always mean a formal or special occasion,” says Jessie Gao, Café Studio’s restaurant manager.  “We’re focused on a family-style dining experience that allows flexibility in menu selection, and is value conscious. Guests decide what they want and how they want to spend, and leave the cooking and cleaning to us, so they can enjoy time together.”

From its signature open kitchen, Café Studio now offers a new a la carte dinner menu featuring Shanghainese and Asian-inspired home-style cooking with Mediterranean touches. Two tempting food stations, Seafood Market and Sweet Corner, provide more choices.

Value packages

“Families can choose from three options that include starters, mains and sides for three, five or eight people.  Then, everyone can choose dishes from the menu to share as a family,” explains Jessie.

Portions are generous, and each family option includes trips to the Sweet Corner, where families will find seasonal ice cream flavours, fruits, biscuits and candies.  As an option, guests can also add the Seafood Market to their dinner for an additional cost, which includes unlimited fresh choices.

All items on the new menu, including the Seafood Market and Sweet Corner, may also be ordered a la carte.

Chef Tommy Zhu leads the team

With 10 year experience in the food and beverage industry, young and talented Chef Tommy Zhu is passionate about bringing in new energy to Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.

“I am excited to lead a young culinary team at Café Studio. We’ve carefully planned this new approach, and expect to welcome our guests to experience modern dining that promotes casual dinners with great value that taste awesome too.”
