The Porirua East community transport bus service was introduced for a six-month trial in February and is for people living in Porirua East. The trial is due to end on 15 August 2011 and has not been performing to expectation. It will be removed at this time unless more people use it.

The Porirua East community transport bus service is a Monday to Friday service that will pick you up or drop you off at your home anywhere in Porirua East, as far as Niagara Street (Waitangirua Mall). It costs only $3.00 or $4.50 and SuperGold Card holders travel free.
