MainStay Suites of Williston tops out and announces new GM

Dora Hospitality, LLC announced construction is already well underway for an 89 room extended stay hotel, the MainStay Suites in Williston, North Dakota.  The MainStay Suites - Williston is expected to open in the Fall of 2012. The hotel plans to hire approximately 20 employees ranging from guest service representatives and housekeepers to a management team.

The property is an Extended Stay hotel that will showcase comfortable rooms for people looking for long term stays.  The MainStay Suites was developed to provide the features and amenities that guests want.  It will feature a contemporary, innovative design that provides accessible comfort such as friendly service and a great night’s sleep, and will set new standards for business travelers and families alike.

This extended stay hotel will include a sweet shop gift shop, kitchens in every room, a complimentary hot breakfast buffet daily, evening manager’s reception, an area for guest to grill out in the gazebo, free guest washers and dryers, and an expanded Fitness Center.

The hotel design debuts a bold lodge feel décor and will create a residential atmosphere that is warm, inviting and comfortable. The hotel will feature a natural, fresh color palette that will make any guest feel like they are on a long vacation.  Guest beds will be made using crisp, white bedding and the bathrooms will include a specially designed walk-in shower, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod in the rooms with bathtubs and great amenities.

The residential design includes business-focused necessities like complimentary high speed Internet access in the guest rooms, that is available both wired and wireless.  In addition, each room will include comfortable queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, and flat panel high - definition televisions with cable access, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. 

The MainStay Suites Williston has named Joe Dora, General Manager of its 89-room hotel located at 200 26th Street East, Williston ND 58801.

In his new role, Mr. Dora will manage the day to day operations of the hotel to ensure superior service, product quality, drive hotel performance, and oversee the development of 25 employees.

With more than 30 years in the hospitality industry Mr. Dora most recently served as the General Manager of the Best Western Harborside Inn – Kenosha WI where he won numerous awards in both customer service and community outreach/employee development programs.
