Londa Hotel In Cyprus Announces New Menu Concept At Caprice Restaurant

The award-winning Londa Hotel in Limassol Cyprus will, from next month, be introducing a new menu concept in its renowned Caprice restaurant. The Caprice will build on its reputation for producing high quality dishes influenced by international cuisines married with traditional European/Mediterranean cooking. Now diners will be able sample new examples of this so-called Modern Eclectic Cuisine, with dishes introduced as monthly specials.

Chef Patric Steklmacher explains the change in focus, “We have always served honest food, both international and modern with Mediterranean influences. Honest because we make everything from scratch in the kitchens with the very best ingredients. This approach to cooking is often described as Modern Eclectic Cuisine.”

“From next month we will take this concept further to introduce other types of cooking.”, Patric continues, “Our guests can expect to see ingredients and cooking styles from South East Asia, Japan, South America and even modern Californian cuisine. Quite simply it means that we have a variety of influences and styles; across borders, across cultures.”

The Caprice prides itself on the integrity of their ingredients and the relationship they have with suppliers so that the very best can be passed on to guests.

General Manager Jochen Niemann comments, “Chef Patric spent a large part his career before joining the Caprice travelling the world working with some the great chefs learning about a variety of cuisines. His menus reflect the best of these experiences, adapted to the stylish international clientele that we have here at the Londa.”

The Modern Eclectic Cuisine concept perfectly matches the interior design of the Londa. A contemporary classic, its highly unique style has been created by a design team from Milan. Influences can be seen from the heritage of Cyprus and from the Mediterranean including Cypriot lace, antique filigree silver and wood. White marble on the ground floor accentuates the view out to the sea through a wall of glass which the Londa is famous for.

With just 68 rooms and suites spread across seven floors, the atmosphere at the Londa is intimate and welcoming. All rooms have five star facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, luxury Molton Brown cosmetics, high speed internet access, wi-fi, and cordless phone.

The Londa’s celebrated restaurant Caprice and lounge bar have become the place to see and be seen by the smart social set in Cyprus. Whether you choose afternoon tea on the terrace or late night lounge tunes from a regular DJ the Londa adapts its ambience to suit.

The Londa prides itself on its sincere service and encourages guests to enjoy what it calls “Moments at Londa”. These are special times, opportunities to relish and to savour the position of the hotel, the time to enjoy its facilities, the chance to embrace an activity at the hotel. Whether guests need business services or help to book a table at a top restaurant, the Londa offers a PA on Call service that is customised to each individual, so that each moment is stress-free with maximum enjoyment.
