IrishFerries.com – the first mobile ferry site

Irish Ferries has launched a new mobile website – and is the first ferry company in Europe to offer a fully transactional site suitable for smartphones.

Travellers to Ireland can now book online from any location, at any time – as long as they have a mobile signal – using iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices..

“Now, in addition to checking sailing times, getting real time sailing updates, customers can book our lowest fares and pay for their journey on any of our Irish Sea or indeed Ireland –France routes.  And all this whenever, or wherever they are - even if they’re already on the road to Holyhead or Pembroke,” says Irish Ferries’ Marketing Manager – Daragh O’Reilly.

“Irish Ferries were the first ferry company to have a website, the first to offer online booking and we’re now the first to provide a full, real-time service to iPhone, Android and BlackBerry users,” he added.

Smart phone users should bookmark the site for future ‘one touch’ access.
