Irish Ferries new iPhone App is an industry first

Irish Ferries new iPhone App is an industry first

Irish Ferries has developed a fully-optimised app for iPhones that enables travellers to book the lowest ferry fares while on the move.

Irish Ferries is the first European ferry company to offer such an app, which is free to download from the iTunes App Store from today.

This latest innovation follows Irish Ferries’ development of the ferry industry’s first fully-transactional mobile website for smartphone users, in July this year.

The new app enables travellers to find and book Irish Ferries’ lowest fares – guaranteed.

Travellers can also view real-time sailing information while on the move and access driving directions to the port from any location in the UK or Ireland; view onboard facilities such as Club Class lounges, and browse Irish Ferries’ FAQs.
