Hotel Indigo® Partners with Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone
Hotel Indigo®, the local neighborhood expert in food and cultural experiences, is “talking food” with celebrity chef Curtis Stone and asking consumers about their favorite neighborhood foodie finds with the launch of it’s “Locals Know Best - Dish on the Dish” campaign. From today through Oct. 15, 2011, foodies across America can enter for the chance to win a VIP trip for two to New York City to experience some of the most diverse food neighborhoods and dishes in the country.
“I love finding out what’s unique and special about each city I travel to and being a chef, hidden local foods and flavors are at the top of my list,” said Stone. “Being exposed to new and different dishes that reflect the local community really brings a destination to life. I’m excited to partner with Hotel Indigo to discover some of the best neighborhood dishes around the country and meet the locals who know them best.”
Stone will be hosting “Locals Know Best - Dish on the Dish” events this summer in Nashville, Tenn., San Antonio and New York City. Consumers will have the chance to meet Stone at each Hotel Indigo property and tell him personally why they believe their favorite dish is the best in the nation. Visit www.Facebook.com/HotelIndigo for complete information about these local events and to enter the “Locals Know Best - Dish on the Dish” promotion.
“We all love food and one of our big passions at Hotel Indigo is not only to provide our guests with a great bar and really good food, but to also share with them the fantastic variety of food that our neighborhoods have to offer,” said Mary Dogan, director, Americas Brand Management, Hotel Indigo. “We’re always seeking out new experiences, so we want to hear from consumers - the best local experts around - about their favorite neighborhood dishes.”
At Hotel Indigo, neighbors and hotel guests eat, drink and enjoy homemade, locally-inspired dishes and traditional favorites. Served with a twist in a stylish space, menu and bar items feature locally-sourced seasonal ingredients brought to the table in partnership with a network of vendors, from farmers and bakers to brew masters and coffee roasters. By the end of 2012, Hotel Indigo properties in key priority markets in the Americas as well as all new hotels will feature one-of-a-kind neighborhood restaurants that are committed to using fresh, seasonal ingredients that support local business providers.
