Hotel D’inghilterra appoints new General Manager Giampaolo Padula

Legendary 5-star luxury Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome has appointed Giampaolo Padula as General Manager with immediate effect.

Giampaolo joins after 3 successful years as General Manager at the Relais & Chateaux Caesar Augustus Hotel on Italy’s Isle of Capri.  Since graduating from the world-famous Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, his text book career path began at the iconic Hotel Eden in Rome and continued in increasingly senior roles at some of the world’s finest addresses including the Lord Byron Hotel (Leading Hotels of the World) in Rome, the Windsor Court Hotel (Orient-Express Hotels) in New Orleans, The Lodge at Vail (Preferred Hotels & Resorts), and the Lygon Arms (Barcelo Hotels & Resorts) in the Cotswolds.

Hotel d’Inghilterra will benefit from Giampaolo’s wealth of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and staff will also gain from his first-hand working knowledge of operations in all departments.  Guests too will welcome his exceptional ability in understanding the attention to detail.

Giampaolo is a native Roman and in addition to his certificates from Lausanne, he also has a BA in Business Administration majoring in International Hospitality Management from Nottingham University.  He is a keen sportsman favouring tennis and football, enjoys music and is also a competent magician.
