Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa South Western Turkey opens

Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced today the opening of Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa, an exclusive resort in the Paradise Bay area of Bodrum.  Featuring 433 guestrooms, 53 spacious suites and eight detached family villas, the property becomes the second Hilton Resort in Turkey, following the opening of the award-winning Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa in 2008.

Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said, “The resort and leisure segment of our global portfolio continues to grow with the opening of a second exclusive Hilton Resort in Turkey.  Hilton provides premium experiences for travelers in key leisure markets around the world.”

Joining the global portfolio following a substantial refurbishment, the converted property offers spectacular views across the Aegean coastline.  Complete with its own private sandy beach and lush gardens, guests can enjoy an array of holiday leisure activities, including; six swimming pools; a luxurious spa and health centre; a children’s mini-aqua park with water slides; and a beach club with outdoor sports, sunbathing deck and water sports centre.

Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa is surrounded by clear blue waters, beautiful beaches and natural coves. The peninsula is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and is only a short drive (four kilometers) from the harbour town of Turkbuku, an exclusive hideaway often described as the ‘St Tropez’ of Turkey.  Turkbuku features a wealth of restaurants, shops and boutiques all set around its lively harbour.  The resort is 22 kilometers from the busy resort of Bodrum and 50 minutes drive from Milas Bodrum Airport (BJV).

Offering a selection of evening restaurants Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa offers upscale dining ideal for couples or families, including the signature Mediterranean restaurant, Paparazzi; the seafood restaurant, Seaport; the Italian restaurant, Patio Olivia; and Sultan Sofrasi, which serves locally inspired Turkish cuisine.  There is also a day and evening buffet restaurant, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Café Central, which serves light snacks. Most restaurants feature outdoor dining areas with beautiful views.

For conferences and events, the hotel has the spectacular 1,200 square meter Grand Phaselis Ballroom, three additional meeting rooms and a multi-purpose boardroom, all with natural daylight and superb views.  The décor is highly contemporary and prior to an event, guests can drink cocktails on the large terrace with panoramic views over the bay. The Grand Phaselis Ballroom can accommodate 1,500 delegates for a reception or 1,100 delegates in theatre-style.

Levent Suyolcuoğlu, general manager, Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa, said, “Not only do we offer world-class leisure facilities for holidaymakers and tourists visiting the beautiful Bodrum area, but a large and flexible meetings and events venue where our skilled team will be on hand to deliver a superb event.  We look forward to welcoming guests to our new Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa.”
