Grange Hotels launches energy-efficient luxury hotel in London

Grange Hotels has announced the opening of its newest property, the four star Grange Tower Bridge hotel.

Designed using the very best energy-efficient building fabrics, materials and systems, the Grange Tower Bridge is London’s newest ‘green’ luxury hotel and is ideally poised to appeal to eco-friendly consumers who are increasing choosing hotel destinations based upon demonstrable green credentials and responsible practice.

In recognition of this new market segment, the Grange Tower Bridge boasts energy-efficient heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and a
low carbon technology Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit to cover the hotel’s base heating demands.

The hotel building additionally incorporates high performance glazing to prevent overheating, together with ‘green roofs’ featuring renewable photovoltaic energy panels that generate sustainable electricity.

Potable, or drinking water, consumption has also been dramatically reduced by the installation of a specially incorporated borehole system on site.

Individual guest bedrooms meanwhile feature thoughtfully designed marble and granite en-suite bathrooms – equipped with baths and showers, and stocked with luxury toiletries that have been locally produced using natural ingredients.

Grange Hotel will be officially launched at Business Travel Market this week

Specially formulated to be free of allergens, parabens and animal products, this natural botanical range is also part of the natural range of products used for signature treatments offered at the on-site Ajala Spa, which administers a premium range of holistic and beauty therapies.

Ajala Spa products themselves, together with their packaging, are 100 per cent recyclable, fitting in perfectly with the hotel’s zero to landfill policy.

Hasham Soliman, general manager of the Grange Tower Bridge, is extremely positive about this week’s Grange Tower Bridge launch, stating: “By adding forward-thinking, energy-efficient technologies to our existing range of guest amenities, we are now able to offer our London business clients a more responsible solution to their luxury accommodation and conferencing requirements.”

The launch of the Grange Tower Bridge marks the continued expansion of the Grange Hotels luxury portfolio, and it joins the nearby five star Grange City

Hotel in offering unrivalled meetings and events venues, sumptuous bedrooms, spa and dining facilities within the prominent City district.
