Hilton has announced the opening of Grand Tirolia Hotel Kitzbuhel.
The property joins Curio Collection by Hilton and marks the brand’s entry into Austria.
Handpicked to be a part of the exclusive collection of independent hotels and resorts celebrated for their individuality, the property, a private oasis in the Austrian Alps, joins more than 60 one-of-a-kind Curio Collection by Hilton hotels around the world, including 11 in Europe.
“We are excited to introduce Grand Tirolia Hotel Kitzbuhel to Curio Collection by Hilton, the brand’s first ski and golf resort in Europe,” said Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton.
“The opening of this property highlights our commitment to expanding our collection of distinctive hotels in key destinations across the globe, and we look forward to providing unexpected and authentic experiences to travellers visiting Kitzbuhel for skiing, hiking, golfing or relaxation.”
With its long winter seasons and high snow reliability, Kitzbuhel is renowned for being a skier’s paradise, and guests can easily access the slopes from the hotel.
Conveniently located 3.5 kilometres from Kitzbuhel Train Station and set amongst the backdrop of beautiful greenery, the hotel also has more than 1,000 kilometres of hiking trails nearby, as well as Lake Schwarzensee, which offers non-skiers ice skating and curling.
“Grand Tirolia Hotel Kitzbuhel is perfect for travellers who wish to visit the Kitzbuhel Alps.
“Guests can taste Tirolian cuisine at our restaurant, play on the 18-hole golf course nestled within the property and explore the endless deciduous forest,” said Stefan Bauer, general manager, Grand Tirolia Hotel Kitzbuhel, Curio Collection by Hilton.
“We look forward to welcoming guests to a truly one-of-a-kind hotel experience.”
