The Fourth Shanghai M.I.C.E. Task Force Meeting was held on October 28, 2011 at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. Twenty-nine members from the leading hotels, PCOs and event companies in Shanghai participated in the meeting. Roger Tondeur, president of MCI Group also attended the meeting and shared his experience with the members.

Patrick Chen, vice director of International Tourism Promotion Department, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration (SMTA) introduced 5 new members, which increase the members to reach 32. They are Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, The Westin Shanghai Bund Center, Sheraton Shanghai Pudong Hotel & Residences, Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai Daning.

Mr. Bruce MacMillan, president and CEO of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) was invited to deliver a speech on Global Meeting Market Trends and introdue MPI Global Training Program.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest global community of meeting professionals with 24,000 members in 80 countries and 71 chapters around the world.
