Forget me not at Park Plaza

From pyjamas to pants, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts’ latest survey reveals what the British public forget to pack

Birthday suits and fuzzy teeth are the bane of going away for most. According to Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts’ latest survey, 32.1% of guests forget their toothbrush and 25% forget toothpaste, whilst a whopping 28.6% neglect to pack their pyjamas or nightie. There’s a limited chance of going commando, however; only 5.3% forget to bring underwear.

As you would expect, it is the less replaceable items that when forgotten cause the most consternation. Phone chargers and cameras topped the poll of most irritating items to forget, with 64.9% and 19.3% of answers respectively.

“No matter how much someone travels, it’s incredible how many guests leave the bare essentials behind,” comments Natasha Hanley, Brand Marketing Manager of Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts. “Luckily for them, our hotels can supply most items – from cufflinks to combs – and our front desk staff can happily help source bigger items. With central London on the doorstep of our city hotels, guests can get pretty much anything they need.”

With a choice of hotels in central London, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts has all the capital’s shops and amenities on its doorstep: Park Plaza Riverbank, Plaza on the River and Park Plaza County Hall are moments from the South Bank; Park Plaza Victoria London is within easy reach of all the capital’s best shopping from Old Bond Street to the King’s Road; Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes, located on Baker Street, is close to the boutique shops of Marylebone High Street.
