flynas completes IATA operational safety audit registration

flynas has completed its IATA operational safety audit registration, an internationally accepted evaluation process of an its operational management and control systems. 

IOSA is an established standard in the airline industry, and registration is synonymous to an airline’s commitment to safety.

Meeting the extensive criteria of the program is a testament to flynas’ strong leadership, team cohesion, teamwork, and long-term commitment to providing a high level of safety to its passengers and employees, the airline said.

On achieving this milestone in its successful journey, Mansoor Al Harbi, flynas chief operations officer, has expressed his pride in the airline for accomplishing the IOSA Registration.

Al Harbi also stated that IOSA is the main benchmark in operational safety for all airlines, and earning it is a prerequisite for an airline to become an IATA member, thus the importance of this significant triumph to flynas and all its employees.

To achieve IOSA registration, flynas has set in place a sound and cohesive corporate safety and quality management system that continuously monitors operations to ensure they remain compliant with safety requirements.

flynas received the IOSA certificate after an IATA international team visited all its operational facilities and departments, boarded its scheduled flights, and inspected all its procedures in real-time done before, during, and after flights.

The team focused on administrative and structural modalities, safety, and operational standards.

The audit also covered organizational management, flight operations, cabin operations, maintenance, flight dispatch, ground and cargo operations, and security.
