Eurolines launches Schiphol service

Eurolines - part of the National Express Group - is to launch a new daily coach service from London Victoria Coach Station to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, providing customers with access to the international airport’s long-haul flights.

The new city centre to airport service will carry travellers overnight, arriving at Schiphol early morning.

Launching on the July 1st, it builds on Eurolines’ existing London to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport offering, which has proven a popular way for UK and international travellers to reach France’s largest airport.

Following on from this announcement, Eurolines has recently met with The Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG Move) and Airports Council International (ACI) to discuss ways to improve the passenger experience of cross-border coach travellers, including improving access to European airport terminals.

Speaking about the launch of the new service, John Gilbert, president of Eurolines said: “This announcement is another example of our commitment to offer our international travellers Europe’s largest and most extensive coach service.”
