The United States ban on carrying laptops in aircraft cabins has been lifted “immediately” from Emirates Airlines.
The move follows a similar decision at Etihad Airways earlier this week.
In March, the US banned cabin laptops to and from eight mostly Muslim nations, fearing bombs may be concealed in them.
Emirates said it had worked with US authorities to meet the requirements of the new security guidelines for all US bound flights.
Emirates flies to 12 US cities, though frequencies were cut in the wake of the laptop ban.
