Dusit Thani celebrated as Bangkok’s cultural hub

Dusit Thani Bangkok has taken a lead role in showcasing Bangkok as the premier arts and culture destination in Thailand as part of a partnership with the annual Bangkok International Festival of Dance and Music.

The 13th annual festival is to be held between the September 9th and October 16th 2011 at the Thailand Cultural Center, the largest annual performing arts festival in the country.

It features Swan Lake on Ice, Mariinsky Ballet Gala, Bale de Rua, Flying Superkids, Flamenco Dance and many more once in a lifetime events.

Many famous artists and world-acclaimed theatre groups from around the globe will perform in an exciting programme of classical music concerts, operas, as well as classical, contemporary and world dances.

To help arts and music lovers take full advantage of this new partnership, Dusit Thani Bangkok is creating an exclusive offer designed to allow guests to enjoy the luxury and conveniences of the most revered hotel in Thailand and also the best of the festival performances – at very special rates.

With Dusit Thani Bangkok’s ‘The Best of Bangkok Arts Festival Package’, guests are offered the chance to book one-night at THB9,300, inclusive of accommodation, breakfast, two tickets for the performance of your choice, roundtrip transfers to and from the Thailand Cultural Center (TCC), and a post-show nightcap for two.

JS Uberoi, the festival’s principal organiser, said “Dusit Thani Bangkok, as the official hotel of Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance and Music, is an invaluable partner.

“The hotel’s involvement in helping put Bangkok on the international cultural map has been crucial by providing value-adding privileges to the festival experience.”
