Dukes Dubai has taken the title of Middle East’s Leading New Hotel at the prestigious World Travel Awards.
The trophy was presented at the Armani Hotel Dubai during a glittering red-carpet Middle East Gala Ceremony.
The five-star hotel, which opened its doors in March this year, beat off strong competition from other leading hotels across the GCC to lift the award at a glittering ceremony in the Armani Hotel, Dubai.
Dukes Dubai general manager, Tristan de la Porte du Theil, said: “It is a huge honour to receive this award, especially given we have only been open for seven months.
“It is testament to all the hard work by everyone at Dukes Dubai as we continue to provide quintessentially British, first class service to all our guests.”
Dukes Dubai will now contest the World’s Leading New Hotel 2017 award at the Grand Final Gala Ceremony in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, on December 10th.
Situated on the west trunk of Palm Jumeirah, Dukes Dubai is owned by Seven Tides International and boasts 279 guestrooms and 287 hotel apartments, as well as world-class leisure, conference and entertainment facilities, including a stunning private beach, indoor pool, outdoor infinity pool and state-of-the-art gym, along with five food and beverage outlets.
Earlier this year Dukes Dubai introduced the Pool Butler, a complimentary personalised service offered to guests staying in the hotel’s luxurious suites.
The offer will let guests continue to receive outstanding service while relaxing by the hotel’s outdoor pool and 14th floor infinity pool.
The new Pool Butler is on hand to provide guests with everything they could wish for, from refreshed towels and food and beverages served directly to their sunbed, to more personal services such as the cleaning of sunglasses, wiping of phone screens and the re-arranging and cleaning of flip flops after beach visits.
