Dubai tourism discusses cooperation with Emirates and Seychelles
Mr. Anwar Al Hanai from the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, used his presence at the “Carnival of Carnivals” in Seychelles to discuss future cooperation with Emirates and the Seychelles.
Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, visited the government of Dubai Tourism Village at the center of the carnival venue in the Seychelles along with Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, and together with Mr. Anwar Al Hanai, discussed a tripartite approach to working together.
Dubai tourism has been involved with the “Carnival of Carnivals” in the Seychelles for two consecutive years, and their presence has been well appreciated by the island’s tourism board. “We are strong believers that we all need to work together for the continued success of our respective tourism industries. Gone are the days of individualism,” Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, said.
Emirates and Etihad, the airlines from the Middle East area, were both part of the 2012 carnival in Seychelles. This annual “Carnival of Carnivals” that is hosted by Seychelles and La Reunion is fast becoming a must on the world’s calendar of events. It remains the only carnival where the best and better known carnivals of the world parade together and followed by cultural groups from the Community of Nations.
