Delta Hotels appoints chief executive

Industry veteran Kenneth M. Greene has been named President & Chief Executive Officer of hotel management company Delta Hotels and Resorts. Ken will officially assume his role in September 2012.

“Ken has a strong track record in leading the strategic growth of global hotel brands,” says Delta Hotels and Resorts’ chairman Kevin Mahoney.

“His appointment as President & CEO strongly supports bcIMC’s commitment to Delta’s continued growth and to continuing its strong tradition as the Canadian hotel brand of choice for employees, guests and hotel owners.”

Based in Hong Kong, Ken was most recently President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region for the Wyndham Hotel Group. Since 2001 Ken has held successive senior leadership roles at Wyndham, based at their world headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Wyndham, Ken has held senior financial, strategic planning and development leadership roles for such global organizations as NRT, Inc., Cendant Corporation, HFS, Inc., and Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates, Inc.

Ken, an MBA graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, is regarded as one of the industry’s global leaders in growing brands. His expertise in brand management, development and investment banking positions him well to enable Delta to realize its growth strategy.
