DB Schenker Logistics now has its National Company in Belarus
Effective immediately, DB Schenker Logistics is represented in Belarus with its own national company. Previously, an office in Minsk had represented the Russian national company on the Belarusian market. Now, the new subsidiary in Belarus, with locations in Minsk and at Minsk Airport, connects Belarus with the DB Schenker global network and its 2,000 locations in over 130 countries.
The new company offers the full range of logistics services, including the import and export of part- and full-load freight shipments bound to and from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, and air and ocean freight services that include the handling of all customs formalities.
The new national company will enable us to strengthen our network in Eastern Europe, says Karl Nutzinger, Member of the Management Board of Schenker AG responsible for Land Transportation. Our customers expect smooth, trouble-free service in Belarus as elsewhere. Having our own company is a key factor in providing high end-to-end service quality. We expect that the recently formed customs union between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will provide stimulus for additional growth.
