Cruisingexcursions.com, the rapidly expanding shore excursion company, has appointed Sarah Dooley as head of trade sales, based in Birmingham. Sarah will be leading the trade sales team and directing management of key accounts, visiting agents, delivering training and controlling the roll out and communication to agents of new destinations as they come on line.
Sarah joins the company from Low Cost Beds / Resorthoppa where she was a key account manager; prior to that she was at Anatolian Sky Holidays. Sarah holds a BA (Hons) in Business Tourism Management.
Cruisingexcursions.com’s managing director Simon Purchase said: “Sarah is perfectly qualified to lead our trade sales team. Since our launch on 1 July we’ve been inundated with requests from agents recognising the earning potential of selling our cruise excursions, and with new destinations being introduced daily Sarah has hit the ground running!”

With the launch of cruisingexcursions.com cruisers now have an alternative to the excursions offered onboard by the cruise lines – shore activities with a difference, which can be booked in advance of the cruise by travel agents or the direct consumer.
