Confidence in Spain resumes

A slow return of consumer confidence in the UK is driving a resurgence of interest in buying abroad - with PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona continuing to defy the economic climate and a plethora of Brit case studies available on request.

According to the founder of The Overseas Guides Company, Richard Wray which since 2005 has published buying guides for British buyers “appetite has returned with a vengeance” with interest in Spain especially strong and demand for guides up 50 per cent on 2012.

In line with this noted trend PGA Catalunya Resort is building on its remarkable 25 sales during 2012 and is on track to agree sales on more than 35 properties this year. Offering a credible and intelligent investment choice for overseas buyers PGA Catalunya Resort pioneers the next generation of luxury villa development; a low-density project set amongst woodland and exceptionally finished with open-plan layouts and innovative use of glass that brings the outside in without compromising on privacy.

Similar patterns emerge from Rightmove Overseas, the international version of UK property website Rightmove which recorded an increase in the number of Spanish property searches.

Evidence of the sales success at PGA Catalunya Resort is the continued investment and growth, for example the new La Balca development which will accommodate 14 large villa plots with spectacular views of the Tour Course over the 15th Hole with the lake and forest of pine trees beyond.
La Balca will also incorporate a stunning Show Villa with four bedrooms, double-height ceilings, and huge windows to take in the views – construction on this new villa is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2014.

In addition Phase 3 of the stylish apartments has begun; eight spacious units with a master suite and two additional bedrooms each. Four different apartment types are offered and all have uninterrupted views over the 18th Hole of the Stadium Course.

With its secure financial background, PGA Catalunya is owned by the team who have a credible track record of successful villa developments around the world, including the award-winning Quinta do Lago in Portugal.

The proven infrastructure at PGA Catalunya also includes two world-class golf courses – a Stadium course, voted the No.1 course in Spain by and No.3 in Continental Europe by Golf World, and more gentle Tour course - a Golf Clubhouse, a Membership Clubhouse with private lounge, restaurant, and the exceptional new Residents Club for owners, complete with indoor and outdoor swimming pool & children’s pool, indoor spa pool, tennis courts, fitness centre and treatment rooms.
