Chiswick Moran Hotel announces new General Manager

The Chiswick Moran Hotel has announced the appointment of Josh Cameron as the property’s new General Manager. Josh has been selected for this position, following ten years dedicated service within the Moran Hotels group.

Josh moved to London from Sydney in 2001 and began his career at Moran Hotels as a barman working in the Crown in Cricklewood. A promotion to Assistant Bar Manager followed, and then shortly after the opening of the Crown Moran Hotel in 2004, Josh become Duty Manager. In 2006, Josh became Front Office Manager, where he remained until his promotion and move to Chiswick as General Manager.

In Australia, Josh worked as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, University Lecturer and Manager at an animal wildlife park, where he dealt with tour group bookings and management of the F&B and sales departments. Josh was educated to Master’s degree level at Macquarie University, where he studied music.

The former General Manager of the Chiswick Moran Hotel, Ben Lawrence, has left to take up the position of General Manager at Bewley’s Hotel Leeds. As Bewley’s Hotels is a sister company to Moran Hotels, Ben will be staying in the family. Ben was with the Chiswick Moran Hotel for three years and has worked for the group for a total of seven years.
