Clicks to Bricks Vacation Company Launches ByeByeNOW TV

“Largest multi-media library of travel content delivered in friendly television format”
Understanding the visual impact, universal appeal and influence television has on consumer decisions, ByeByeNOW.com has launched ByeByeNOW TV - the largest and most updated library of leisure travel multi-media content presented to consumers in an entertaining “television like format” on the Internet.
ByeByeNOW TV features more than 750 videos and 360-degree photographic virtual tours of cruises, hotel properties and destinations that reside on the company’s web site - www.byebyenow.com—and will be digitally delivered to more than 69,000 desktops in 21,000 WorldSpan subscriber travel agencies around the world. The multi-media library, which has been produced in-house during the last three months with “network TV quality standards,” is the most current database of vacation content on the Internet. More than 50 new videos and virtual tours are produced by the company’s production team and posted on the web site every week. In keeping with its television format, ByeByeNOW TV features a female “web personality” who welcomes visitors, explains how to navigate the site and provides commentary on each area of the site.
This innovative Internet branding tool is the brainchild of Guy Pepper, ByeByeNOW.com CEO, a 12-time Emmy award winner and former NBC News executive who is known throughout the broadcast industry for helping to launch CNN, MSNBC, Dateline NBC and many NBC news programs. Unable to find a comprehensive library of vacation media content that met the company’s needs, Pepper hired former broadcast television producers, editors and photographers to produce content for ByeByeNOW TV.
“Our multi-media content is an integral part of ByeByeNOW.com’s strategy to deliver a personalized customer experience,” said Pepper. “Whether in a travel agency or on the Internet, consumers find watching a video and virtual tour far superior to a traditional two-dimensional brochure to help them see where they are going before selecting and buying a cruise or vacation.”
ByeByeNOW TV currently features multi-media content from the most popular vacation destinations, including the Caribbean, Florida, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Mexico, as well as videos and virtual tours of cruise ships from most major cruise lines, such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Upcoming destinations to be featured on the web site include all major US tourist and select European vacation areas.
