WIZCOM ANNOUNCES SEVERAL CUSTOMER AGREEMENTS TO IMPLEMENT ENHANCED SERVICE AND SEAMLESS GDS AND INTE

Cendant Internet Group, a unit of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD), today announced that the Company’s subsidiary, WizCom International, Ltd. (“WizCom”), has recently completed agreements with major hotel chains and reservations companies that will provide these firms with enhanced services such as seamless connectivity to the major Global Distribution Systems (GDSs). Several customers also agreed to use TravelWiz, WizCom’s Internet booking engine that enables hotel companies to process real-time reservations at the hotel’s own Web site.

Adam’s Mark Hotels and Resorts, which operates twenty-one hotels in thirteen states, and Classic International Hotels, a European hotel corporation with 325 member hotels located throughout Europe, added the WizCom TravelWiz Internet Booking Engine to their respective Web sites. TravelWiz is transparent to the consumer and supports the identity of a specific hotel brand, allowing the consumer to use the service without appearing to leave the hotel Web site. “WizCom’s TravelWiz Internet booking engine has been chosen by many of our customers as a preferred distribution solution to make hotel reservations just a click away. They choose TravelWiz because it allows them to retain control over the look and feel of their Web sites.”


Jolly Hotels, Italy’s largest hotel chain with over 40 properties in Italy and other destinations including Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and New York, has agreed to implement the newest version of WizCom’s Wizdom Plus Central Reservation System (CRS), which provides Jolly Hotels with Internet and GDS connectivity options, enhanced voice booking capabilities and seamless connectivity to its Web site.

Also implementing seamless connectivity is InnLink Central Reservation Services, a premier private label voice and electronic reservation service that has signed a new long-term service contract with WizCom. Seamless connectivity gives the worldwide network of 400,000 travel agents and all online shoppers the ability to receive immediate confirmation numbers for reservations, as if they are accessing the hotel’s own central reservation system. Also implementing seamless connectivity through WizCom are: Classic International Hotels; Accor; Amerihost, which operates 77 mid-priced hotels in 16 states; and Villager Franchise Systems, Inc., Cendant Corporation’s economy class extended stay network.


RezMark, a subsidiary of Outrigger Hotels and Resorts whom supplies voice and electronic reservation processing services for Outrigger and The Kimpton Group, has also signed a new long-term contract with WizCom for use of its Wizdom® GDS reservation system. This system connects Outrigger’s central reservation system to the four major global distribution systems and other Internet sites as well.


Accor, France’s largest hotel chain with 1500 hotels in over 80 countries, represented under Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Etap, and other brands, and Extra Holidays, a timeshare rental generation system, also use the Wizdom GDS reservation system as a connection to WorldRes, a business services company that distributes hotel information and reservations booking capability to leisure travelers via a proprietary global network of website and call center partners.
