Active Hotels
has registered record increases in booking volumes in the days leading up to the May bank holiday weekend.

 

Booking volumes, which had already been at record levels throughout May, rocketed in the week leading up to the holiday weekend.  From Saturday 17th right up to the weekend itself, Active Hotels has registered 5 consecutive record booking days.  Overall, approximately 14,000 room nights have been booked through Active Hotels for the bank holiday weekend alone.

These figures serve as evidence of the last minute booking trend which has developed in online hotel bookings, with leisure seekers increasingly booking their short weekend breaks away at shorter and shorter notice.
