, leading travel inventory and content provider for online businesses, named Henry Wang as the new Corporate Information Officer (CIO).

Wang will be stationed in the company’s Odessa, Texas office and will oversee technology and fulfillment. He will be responsible for several key projects including the upcoming redesign of the OneTravel.com Web site, as well as maintaining CheapSeats.com, the company’s newly launched site specializing in international airfare.

 

Formerly the Director of Technology at Sapient Corporation, Wang managed the Web site redesign for United.com as well as the launch of Opodo, an online European travel portal initiated by nine major European airlines.

 

In addition to his travel industry experience, Wang also brings expertise from the financial sector, having created various technological platforms for Fidelity Investments as well as the former Bank of Boston.

 

Among his many prominent accomplishments, Wang boasts 95% deliverability of projects on time and on budget. This statistic was earned in an atmosphere with many challenges, including complex, mission critical projects coordinated among many locations and several parties.

 

His 15 years of experience with leading-edge technologies is also complemented by his education, a master’s degree in computer science from University of Massachusetts at Boston.
