Openjaw Launches Single Search Solution for European Low Fare Airlines

Dublin based OpenJaw Technologies
has launched new technology which allows travel companies to search major European low fare airlines with a single query and continue through to booking.
OpenJaw`s innovative middleware technology xDistributor means that customers do not have to visit external sites to book the fares.

John Lambe, CTO said “OpenJaw has developed OpenTravel? Alliance (OTA) XML interfaces to Europe’s low fare airlines within our xDistributor XML middleware platform. This provides a single OTA XML interface for searching and booking against these airlines which can be easily integrated with existing travel websites or travel agency systems. “In addition, xDistributor utilizes OpenJaw`s XML Rules Engine which allows business experts control the business logic, determining which suppliers receive a request, applying discounts or markups, filtering and sorting responses.

OpenJaw`s Chief Executive Officer, John McQuillan said: “By applying our industry knowledge and expertise and listening to our customers, OpenJaw is developing leading edge XML based distribution solutions designed to increase flexibility and reduce the cost of supplier direct connects. We are committed to supporting open standards, and so we fully support the OTA as the leading XML specifications organization for travel.”

xDistributor is available now and is a state-of-the-art, world-class solution which addresses marketplace changes and enables OpenJaw to offer the highest level of satisfaction to its customers
