the area, officially opened with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony

Wielding the scissors for the ribbon cutting were hotel General Manager
Michael West, The Honorable Meyera Oberndorf, Mayor of Virginia Beach,
Louis Haddad, President/CEO of Armada Hoffler, the master developer for
both the hotel and the Town Center, and dignitaries from Crestline Hotels
& Resorts, Inc. and Barcelo Crestline. Mr. West, Mayor Oberndorf, Mr.
Haddad and Dave Durbin, President & Chief Executive Officer of Crestline
Hotels & Resorts, Inc. delivered remarks fitting the occasion. A reception
and tours followed the ceremony. A jazz combo from Hampton University
entertained as guests enjoyed hors d`oeuvres and beverages interspersed
throughout the facility.
